HON. DR. MOHAMMED WAKIL, OON FNIM (FORMER MINISTER OF STATE POWER, NIGERIA) ACCEPTS HONORARY DOCTORATE FROM IHERIS UNIVERSITY TOGO - 17TH NOVEMBER, 2021

Hon Dr Mohammed Wakil accepted the Doctoral Degree because of the values he shares  with IHERIS UNIVERSITY which is developing it's learning on the basis of best global practices and a commitment to spark the light of creativity and generate practical solutions that will solve the manpower needs of Africa; while building character and discipline. 

IHERIS UNIVERSITY paid tribute for his years of leadership services to Nigeria in different capacities, managerial experiences and services to humanity in general. 

Receiving the delegation from the University Iheris TOGO (A Pan-European University) in his Law Office MaitamaAbuja, led by the Registrer Dr Adamu Muhammad Wakili on official visit together with Director  of International Affairs of the University Prof. G.G. GOMNA and other principal officers of the  University to Confered on him  a revered DOCTORAL DEGREE IN INTERNATIONAL LAW AND JURISPRUDENCE ( Honaris Causa) of University of IHERIS Lome Togo.

In Commemoration of this Honour, the University Governing Council has also approved a tuition-free Scholarship slots for him to nominate 10 less privileged Students  whom will be admitted  into various  undergraduate programmes. 

In his acceptance response, Hon Dr Mohammed Wakil apologies for his inability  to attend the Convocation taken place on 30th October 2021 at Palaise de Congress in Lome,  Togo. 

He further said he was overwhelmed by this Honour, and appreciate the University community,  especially the team lead by the Registrer who personally visit him in his office to deliver the Honour on behalf of the President of the University. 

He said,  he received this  honour heartily as a motivation  to continue to do his best to humanity.
